Olivia Newton-John’s daughter Chloe Lattanzi opened out about her recent health fight, explaining that she was still battling a year after her mother’s untimely passing.
In an Instagram post, the 37-year-old actress and singer stated she was suffering from memory loss and couldn’t “get out of bed.”
Her renowned mother, who rocketed to stardom as Sandy in Grease, died last August at the age of 73 after a 20-year battle with breast cancer.
A year later, Chloe stated she was going to stop posting on social media because she had been ‘neglecting’ herself.
The American singer shared her health news with her social media followers, explaining what she was going through in a clip she published to her site.
She told her 142,000 followers: ‘Since my mom’s passing and the year and a half with her going through cancer I have not been okay.
‘I’ve had extreme memory loss and difficulty getting out of bed. I’ve stuck to my commitments but I’ve been neglecting myself.
‘One of my mum’s biggest messages was to take care of you. If you don’t take care of you, you cannot give your full capacity of love, wisdom, kindness and power to everyone else.
‘So after the walk, I’m gonna disappear for about three weeks just to honour my mind, body and spirit because I’m developing a little bit of health issues in my mind and body.’
She finished off her update by saying: ‘If you needed this reminder, I hope it was helpful.’
Chloe added a lengthy caption to go with her video that further explained: ‘Real talk. In order to take care of others, you must first start with you.
‘This is a universal truth, a universal law. I look forward to coming home to my power. I will see you at the walk! And I look forward to health and wellness again.
‘We never know what someone’s inner world really looks like. Please take care of you, and your capacity for healing others and being more powerful than you ever could have imagined will follow.
‘Take it easy. Take it slow. Easy does it darlings.’
The singer is the famous actress’s first and only child with her ex-husband Matt Lattanzi, who welcomed her in 1986.
