Love Island winners Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti will be taking viewers on a personal journey abroad in their new ITV show, and we’re ready for the ride.
During their sit-down on The Big Breakfast in August, the couple confirmed that they’ll be launching their own TV show.
The actress, 28 and the Italian Stallion will embark on two trips of a lifetime as they explore Davide’s hometown in Italy and Ekin-Su’s beloved Turkey in their series titled Homecomings.
Their stint on Love Island showcased the good, the bad and the ugly, but we think things will be a little tranquil this time round, as Davide will be whipping up more tiramisu for his bae, while Ekin-Su will introduce him to her acting colleagues.
Creative Director at Lifted Entertainment, Mike Spencer, said: ‘We are thrilled to be working with Davide and Ekin-Su on this really exciting new ITV2 show.
‘Ekin-Su and Davide both stole the nation’s hearts on this series of Love Island so we are excited for viewers to see what they have been up to since winning the show.’
An official release date for Homecomings hasn’t been provided yet, but we’re sure we won’t have long to wait.
It’s been an exciting time for the lovebirds as they recently returned from a whirlwind trip to New York City where they both received billboards in Times Square to celebrate Davide’s boohooMAN collection and Ekin’s exclusive partnership with Oh Polly.
Following host Laura Whitmore’s exit from Love Island, Ekin-Su’s name was thrown into the ring to take her place, guiding the next crop of singletons to finding love.
‘I would love to take her place but I don’t think I’m ready yet,’ she confessed to Metro.co.uk.
‘I feel like I’ve got so much going on. One day, fingers crossed!’
Fans are also looking forward to seeing Ekin and Davide move in together as the couple previously confirmed that was on the horizon this winter.
