Kimberly Wyatt, a former Pussycat Doll, skated her way to the finals of Dancing On Ice last year, but she thinks one aspect of her experience was “horrible.”
The Don’t Cha singer earlier stated that the ITV show’reignited’ her marriage to Max Rogers and gave her confidence a boost.
Kimberly took her skating abilities all the way to the final, when she was defeated by professional dancer Regan Gascoigne and his partner Karina Manta on March 27, 2022.
Despite her initial excitement about the ice dancing competition event, she has now highlighted the bad aspects of her experience.
‘Women hate women,’ she told The Sun when asked about her time as one of the 12 contestants on the show.
The Pussycat Doll continued: ‘There are instances where the women do not want to root for other women doing well. There are often times where women revel in a woman failing, which is horrible.’
She blamed a ‘competitive nature’ which women are ‘born’ with that causes unrest in female relationships.
‘We are born to compete to get a man, so I feel there’s this competitive nature between women that needs to be resolved,’ Kimberly stated.
Kimberly did not mention any incidents or other ladies participated in the Dancing On Ice lineup, which comprised six female celebrities and six female pros.
She said that she had spent time in the hospital due to the’stress’ of conflict while travelling with The Pussycat Dolls.
She has previously fought with her former bandmate Nicole Scherzinger, 45, and the two are said to be feuding.
The Pussycat Dolls were planning a reunion tour, but Covid postponed it, and the tour was eventually scrapped, as Nicole informed on her Instagram page.
Kimberly went on to say that women in positions of power sometimes ‘overdo it’ because they are ‘trying to tap into a male spirit’ that women aren’t used to.
She said: ‘You know that if there is a guy, he is probably going to be kind to you. But more times than not, if you see a woman, they’ll go to the depths of everything to try to find something wrong.’
Dancing On Ice returns to ITV next year.
