Scott Thomas, Adam Thomas’ twin brother, disclosed his horrific wounds after a tragic accident.
The former Love Island star, who made it all the way to the season two finals with ex Kady McDermott, suffered significant facial injury after a tennis match turned sour, resulting in not one but two major wounds.
Taking to Instagram Stories he shared: ‘I wake up this morning to padel. I fall over, I bang my head. Rolled all the ligaments in my ankle… somehow, we’ve got to try and find all the positivity in this one, but I will. Positive vibes!’
Scott captioned the clip: ‘Can’t script it. Just about to Win the game as well – Probably another life lesson to slow down… I’ll find the positivity somehow.’
This comes after Ryan, a former Coronation Street actor, was spotted crying during Adam’s waltz on the newest Strictly Come Dancing.
The Waterloo Road actor, 35, and pro Luba Mushtuk glided around the dancefloor to Curtis Stigers’ I Wonder Why, earning a score of 32.
Ryan, Ryan’s older brother, who is due to compete on Dancing On Ice 2024, couldn’t help but cry as he watched from the crowd.
Head judge Shirley Ballas told Adam: ‘It was calm, it was actually surreal, it had some beautiful moments with footwork.
Adam began crying as he basked in the lovely compliments after confessing she was ‘gobsmacked’ by the routine.
‘Aw, your brother was crying in the audience!’, host Tess Daly told him.
‘Was he crying? Bless him,’ said Adam with a smile.
‘He’s shedding a little tear,’ added the presenter.
After collecting eights from the panel, Russian dancer Luba was compelled to wipe her own eyes.
Despite Adam suggesting a sibling rivalry between him and Ryan ahead of his trip on the ice, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
The serial actor told Metro.co.uk that Ryan ‘absolutely’ wants to defeat his younger sister in his own dancing competition programme.
Adam joked that they are now fiercely competing to see who can perform better.
‘It’s added pressure, I’ve gotta do well!’, he laughed.
Strictly Come Dancing continues Saturday at 6.35pm on BBC One.
