On Wednesday night’s episode of The Traitors, Brian and Ash were both expelled from Ardross Castle following a dramatic double-banishment.
Brian was eliminated following the suspenseful cliffhanger in week three, while Ash was betrayed by her fellow Traitors, Harry and Paul – but it appears she will not divulge her Traitor status to her fellow participants until episode five.
Evie, a Faithful, was also present at the eviction summit and immediately turned to X (previously Twitter) to express her joy that the roundtable had finally resolved one fan riddle that had plagued her from day one.
‘Not gonna lie, kinda glad for that roundtable because people are finding out for the first time that me and Charlie are in fact two different people,’ she admitted.

‘[We’re] not the same blonde person lol,’ she finished up, referencing the fact that viewers at home have spent the first four episodes mistaking her for fellow contestant and fellow Faithful, Charlie.
One social media user, named Tim, commented: ‘I find myself consistently pondering whether Charlie and Evie from The Traitors might actually be one and the same.’
Another viewer said: ‘Anyone else watching The Traitors and just after this shot thinking Charlie and Evie are sisters?! Very alike.’
Both letters included photographs of Evie, 29, a veterinary nurse from Inverness, and Charlie, 34, a mental health manager from Bristol, standing together.

Earlier in the programme, Paul M, who was watching at home, admitted to having watched four episodes and believed the two finalists were the same person all along.
‘So, I’ve spent the last four episodes thinking that Charlie and Evie are the same person… Guess not!’ while others also commented that another Faithful, Mollie, also bore a strong resemblance.
Because of their striking resemblance, one observer, David, speculated that the duo had been purposefully picked by producers as a red herring to mislead others into believing they were sisters.
Earlier in season two, it was discovered that candidates Diane and Ross were mother and son and both connected to Game of Thrones actor Kerr Logan, but Alex and Tom were found to be in a relationship midway through last season.
However, there have been no indications that Evie and Charlie are connected, but that doesn’t mean the show’s writers don’t have another twist in store for future episodes.
Wednesday’s episode ended on an odd cliffhanger, with Ash’s statement that she was a traitor all along abruptly cut short, leaving viewers wondering if she was ready to expose Harry and Paul.
Maggie, who was watching on the edge of her seat at home, said: ‘I think Ash is going to throw Paul under the bus as she leaves – that is why it was a cliffhanger end.’
