Channel 4’s First Dates is back on our screens – for a special, festive serving of hopeful flirtations and ‘could this be love at first sight?’
While it isn’t clear where tonight’s episode was filmed, the show most recently moved to Manchester last year after 15 series in London.
While the location moved, not much else changed. Host Fred Sirieix is still playing cupid and his trusted co-workers Cici and Grant are still around to lending a helping hand – along with new staff members Daniella, David and Fiona.
In tonight’s Christmas special, guests include a jeweller and a portrait artist who is on the look-out for a wife, a vicar and a parish worker with a penchant for dad jokes, a DJ and the self -proclaimed Queen of Christmas who bond over beatboxing and Arsenal, and a pair of students – one of whom has never had a relationship longer than three hours.
