Blade, Katie Price’s dog, appears to have died after being struck by a vehicle.
The former beauty model, 45, was crushed this week when she announced the death of her German Shepherd Blade.
She claimed she was ‘in shock’ after losing her ‘best companion’ and ‘protector,’ whom she received in 2019.
Katie had already been chastised for the large number of animals that have perished in her care, with her dog Sharon being murdered on the same road just seven months earlier.
Blade looks to have died on Sunday after being hit by a vehicle on a road near her house, according to information shared on the Facebook page of a local veterinary facility.
Grove Lodge Veterinary Group posted in a now-deleted article, ‘Unfortunately, we had a big shepherd dog handed into our OOH (Out of Hours) team yesterday night.
‘Found on the A24 near dial post. The dog does not have a microchip, however was wearing a brown Louis Vuitton collar.’
Katie had shared the news on social media on Monday, saying: ‘Worlds can’t express the lost of my best friend my protector my absolutely everything who had sadly passed away today I have no words to say how I’m feeling but numb and shocked rip Blade (sic).’
Katie had another sorrow months ago when her dog Sharon was supposedly killed in a vehicle accident.
At the time, it was stated that the Pomeranian rushed out into a busy road near the model’s home and was killed by a car.
The motorist transported the dog to the vet, but she died as a result of the incident.
Sparkle, another Alsatian, died after being killed by a car after wandering out of her house into a busy road in 2020, and her companion Queenie died after being ran over by a pizza delivery van.
In the same accident, one of her horses died.
Her daughter Princess’s pet Rolo reportedly choked to death after being crushed in an electric recliner when left alone a few years ago.
On Change.org, a petition calling for Price’s pet ownership to be prohibited had already topped 24,000 signatures.
The total has climbed to over 33,000 after the announcement of Blade’s death.
